Motionplus Studios (“Motionplus”, “we”) is a film and photography studio based at KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. This page explains what this website collects and what we do with it.
Information you send us
The contact form asks for your name, email, phone number if you give one, the type of work, and your message. The client brief asks for your name, email, phone, organisation if you give one, the type of work, deliverable, date, location, budget if you give one, a description of the job, and optional files (images, PDFs, or office documents, up to 5 files of 8MB each).
We store those details on this website and email them to the studio so we can reply and quote the job. If you submit a brief, the site also opens WhatsApp with the same written note. Files stay on the website. They are not sent through WhatsApp.
Information collected automatically
The site records page views, showreel plays, and clicks on WhatsApp, phone, and email. That record stores the page, the referring site, and a daily code derived from your IP address and browser. We do not store the IP address itself. These records are deleted after about 13 months.
Google Analytics measures how the site is used (pages, device, and approximate location). Google AdSense may show ads and use cookies to do that, including to measure ads and limit how often you see one. Google’s own policy describes that processing: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Project pages may embed a YouTube or Vimeo player. Those services can set their own cookies when the player loads.
Cookies
The site uses a session cookie so forms can be submitted securely. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set their own cookies. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser. You can also control Google’s ad cookies at adssettings.google.com.
How we use this information
- To reply to enquiries and briefs, and to produce the work you asked for.
- To see which pages and contact buttons are used, so we can keep the site useful.
- To show and measure ads through Google AdSense.
We do not sell your information. We share it with the email and hosting services that run this site, and with Google for analytics and ads. A WhatsApp, phone, or email link leaves this site and is then handled by that service.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and brief records, including uploaded files, are kept while the conversation or the job needs them, and then for our records. Automatic visit records are kept for about 13 months.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through the forms.
